R+B Sponsors Black Architects in the Making

We recently kicked off Black Architects in the Making (BAM)’s Orlando’s Summer Experience with a comprehensive student tour of our Downtown Office! Rhodes+Brito acted as a proud sponsor of this exciting week-long event hosted by BAM.

BAM Orlando’s mission is to “captivate, inspire, and empower the younger generation of color, encouraging them to explore and embrace a career in architecture.” 

This vision strongly aligns with our own values at R+B, where we believe in supporting the next generation of design leaders and fostering diversity within the field of architecture.

Throughout the Summer Experience, students engage in hands-on workshops, activities, and meaningful opportunities to connect around all things architecture. 

Beyond the week-long program, BAM also offers internships and scholarships to aspiring architects, creating pathways for young talent to thrive.

The student tour was a huge success, beginning at CityLab in downtown Orlando, followed by an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to our offices, where students got a closer look at our design process and methodology. 

We are thrilled to support BAM Orlando’s efforts to empower the next generation of Black architects to reimagine the future of our built environment.
