R+B Celebrates the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida

At Rhodes+Brito Architects, we believe that designing with community in mind means showing up — not just with our designs, but with heart. 

That’s why we were honored to once again take part in the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida’s annual Celebrate the Children Gala — and this year’s event was truly one for the books.

Dubbed “Celebrate the Children – Club Oz” and presented by Disney, the evening transported over 900 guests into a magical, Wizard of Oz themed experience — complete with sparkle, spirit, and soul. 

Behind the gala’s glamour was a deeper purpose: in raising funds to support the over 12,000 children and teens through Boys & Girls Club’s 38 locations throughout Central Florida.

We’re proud to share that this year’s gala made history, raising more than $1 million — the largest fundraising total in the event’s history. 

Every dollar raised will help provide a safe, uplifting “Club Home” where local youth can grow, dream, and thrive.

Our commitment to this incredible organization also runs deeper: Kelli Addison, one of our own, has served on the Governance Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida since 2020, and has chaired the gala since 2022.

Club Oz was the result of nearly a year of planning, as Kelli led the charge with the same passion and precision she brings to every project. Her vision helped make this year’s gala a true success, and we are beyond grateful for her dedication.
