Maitland Middle School

Rhodes+Brito was the Prime Architect on this new replacement school, and major renovation and addition project for two schools on a shared campus. The Middle School project included a new two story administration/ classroom building addition, gymnasium renovation, conversion of music building into modern 8th grade classrooms, and a new cafetorium. The changes opened site lines, improved site circulation, and tightened security. Rhodes+Brito was the Prime Architect on this major renovation and addition project. It had 1,280 student stations grades 6-8; 45 new classrooms and labs; improved parent and bus drop off; loops – stacking increased by 300%. Each grade level was organized into 3 academic teams.
