Project Overview
Rhodes+Brito Architects was the prime architect and lead designer for this $28 million downtown facility. Located on the west side of I-4,the 4-story building resets on a block adjacent to Orlando FederalCourthouse. The design team strategically located the front elevation of the building towards the State building as a means to improve site security and circulation. What is unique about the facility is that it has no “back side.” Due to the high profile site, and is visibility from I-4, our design team took care to create a building that complemented its surroundings on each elevation. The building features two four-level atriums, 20 state-of-the-art classrooms, a 200-seat tiered lecture hall, a moot courtroom, library, facility offices, administration and student lounges.
